What is a tethered advertising blimp?
A tethered advertising blimp is a helium-filled display that floats above a business or event while attached to a tether. It can carry a short message, such as NEW HOMES or OPEN, or your company’s logo. Giant Ad Blimps supplies advertising balloons, blimps, and inflatables built in Phoenix, Arizona, and shipped nationwide.
Start with the message.
The New Homes example puts two words on two lines. The illuminated OPEN blimp uses a single word. Use these as references when deciding which message needs the most space on your design.
Look at the full shape.
The eXmark photo shows a logo on the curved side of a finished blimp. The AMPM and Harvest illustrations show how lettering, color panels, and fins can fit together before production.
Review a proof before printing.
Send vector artwork if you have it. We proof the layout on the blimp shape before printing. Check the exact wording, colors, and logo placement against our artwork proof guide.

Can you put my company logo or message on a blimp?
Yes. Giant Ad Blimps offers custom printing and prepares a layout proof before printing. Send your logo, exact wording, and preferred colors; vector artwork is helpful if you have it. The gallery includes both product photos and labeled design illustrations.
How much does a custom printed advertising blimp cost?
The published 2026 prices run from $1,105 for a printed 10-foot blimp to $8,221 for a printed 30-foot blimp. A printed 13-foot blimp is listed at $1,512, and a printed 15-foot blimp at $1,873. See the size table above and confirm the total for your order with the factory.
How long does a printed blimp order take?
Printed orders usually take two to three weeks from order, with timing dependent on artwork approval. Confirm the production and shipping schedule for your event date. The order process is artwork, proof, build, and ship.
What is the difference between a helium blimp and a cold-air inflatable?
A helium blimp floats on a tether above the site. A cold-air inflatable stands on the ground and uses a powered blower. Tell us whether your display needs to be overhead or at ground level so we can discuss the appropriate product.
Can an advertising blimp be illuminated at night?
The gallery’s Illuminated Open example shows a white blimp with LED lighting and red fins photographed at night. Ask about lighting availability and the setup for the blimp you are considering.
What should I send to get a useful quote?
Send the blimp size you are considering, your logo or exact wording, preferred colors, city and setup location, and the date you need it. Ask the factory to confirm helium needs, tethering arrangements, operating conditions, and any site requirements for that particular display.
Talk to the Phoenix factory.
